The requirements for joining the Order of the Secret Monitor are simple - a candidate must have been a Master Mason for four weeks.

There is no need to be a member of the Holy Royal Arch, or Mark Mason Degree

​

As with Craft Masonry, a candidate for the Order of the Secret Monitor must believe in a Supreme Being, but this not specified. Whilst our ceremonies are based from sections of the Old Testament, and the moments experienced by two Hebrew Princes, there is no requirement or restriction on the religion of the candidate.
